I design the experience and then I try to break it. Championing the user while keeping the platform bug-free.

01 Design

Design systems: components, tokens, documentation teams actually use.
End-to-end flows: research, journeys, wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes.
Workshop facilitation: getting stakeholders to one decision, in one room.

02 Quality

Manual testing: walking every path a real user will take, before they do.
Regression testing: new release, old promises still kept.
UX audits: findings ranked by user cost, not by how easy they are to fix.

Zapper: recurring payments

Fintech · Mobile UX · February 2024 · Client: Zapper.com · Role: UX Designer

A seamless way to automate subscriptions, memberships, instalments and donation cycles, without users ever losing sight of what they agreed to. Worked with Zapper's internal designer, You_Source's CEO and the development team; shaped the journey from choosing a payment cycle and confirming billing to seeing exactly what was agreed, with a stress-free way to pause or cancel.

Process: discovery, problem definition, wireframes, prototype. Outcome: a clear, intuitive flow that fitted Zapper's existing ecosystem (the feature did not launch after the client's priorities shifted).

SARS app landing page redesign

Self-directed · Mobile app · Government · Focus: usability · Role: UX Designer

The original screen offered users everything at once. Rebuilt the landing page around the services people actually come for: reduced cognitive load, improved the visual hierarchy and fixed usability issues in the authentication flow.

Process: audit, research, restructure, auth flow. Outcome: a clear hierarchy, a shorter path to the most-used services, and sign-in that stops asking users to guess.

Yebo Fresh

E-commerce · End-to-end UX · Client: Yebo Fresh · Scope: research to UI · Role: UX Designer

An end-to-end UX project for a South African grocery delivery service used for bulk orders on modest devices and data: research, information architecture, flows, wireframes and final interface, with a legible catalogue and an honest basket.

Process: research, architecture, wireframes, interface. Outcome: a simplified catalogue, a basket users can trust, and a checkout that holds up on a slow connection.
