SARS App Redesign - Case Study
About the project
This project focused on improving the usability and overall user experience of the SARS mobile app’s landing page. The original design presented users with too many options upfront, increasing cognitive load and making navigation inefficient. My goal was to simplify the experience by streamlining access to frequently used services, improving the visual hierarchy and addressing usability issues within the authentication flow.
Through UX research and design, I identified key user pain points and developed a more intuitive layout that highlights essential widgets while allowing customisation through a “Manage” drawer. The redesign also refined the login and sign-up experience by aligning the two pages visually and improving accessibility by repositioning interactive elements away from the phone’s native buttons.
The SARS app landing page is cluttered, making it hard to find frequently used widgets; slows task completion and causes inefficiency.
